- Remuneration:$111,341 to $120,557 pa (HEW6) (inclusive of $94,084 to $101,872 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Senior Sport Officer, Student Programs to join QUT Sport, People Services, Administrative Division.
The Senior Sport Officer, Student Programs plays a key role in shaping a high-quality, engaging sport experience for QUT students. The role supports the effective delivery and continuous improvement of student sport programs and competitions, working closely with the Team Leader, Sport to build capability within the casual student workforce and ensure operations run smoothly and professionally. Working across administration, customer relationship management and student-facing functions, the position connects participants, staff and student groups to strengthen engagement and participation across QUT Sport's offerings. Through responsive, insight-led delivery, the role contributes to a positive student experience, growing participation, and a connected, sustainable sport ecosystem at QUT.

What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or experience equivalent to completion of a degree with and/or relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating sporting activities or events that support student engagement and community participation within university, recreation or sporting environments.
- Demonstrated ability to support, coordinate and provide guidance to casual student staff working across multiple venues and programs.
- Demonstrated ability to operate methodically with a high degree of attention to detail, undertake comprehensive planning and utilise organisational skills to prioritise and meet conflicting demands.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and manage risks associated with sporting activities and events, including knowledge of safe work practices.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build positive working relationships with students, participants and casual staff.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and Indigenous Australian engagement.
