The Role
We're looking for an experienced Fire Protection Engineer / Designer who has demonstrated experience working on relevant buildings projects as mentioned above. Join a healthy functional team who provide support, high level mentoring as well as growth opportunities, flexibility and development to keep you moving forward.
Duties within the role
- Design, engineering and documentation of Wet / Dry Fire Protection (Buildings Services) projects.
- Provide a valuable level of expertise and problem solving capability around the Hydraulic and fire protection business unit.
- Posess good and effective written and verbal communication skills to liaise with project stakeholders.
- Working onprojects from early design through to construction on Sprinklers, piping, hydrants, Hydraulics, hosereels, water/fire and storm water systems ensuring construction codes, standards and client expectations are being met.
- Liaising with the Architect, Clients and authorities.
- Coordinating with other engineeringdisciplines including Hydraulics, Mechanical & Electrical.

Salary
$140K - $160K Pkg (Negotiable pending experience)
Skills and experience
- Qualifications in engineering / building discipline
- Minimum 4 + years relevant experience in a consulting or building services environment
- Some previous experience using Revit & CAD on local projects will be useful
- Knowledge and experience using Australian codes and standards (NCC)
- CP Eng / RPEQ accredited useful but not essential
- Good all round communication skills
