About This Team

Under the supervision and direction of the Operations Manager and the Warehouse Operations Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate will provide a supporting role to the Distribution Centre operations in respect to picking, packing, counting, receiving, shipping and restocking of inventory.

A Day In The Life

You will report to the Distribution Centre Warehouse Operations Supervisor You pick, pack and ship orders in a timely manner as assigned by management You meet or exceed engineered metrics within each department i.e. units picked per hour You are capable of adapting to third party technologies (RF Guns and Voice Picking) You support and perform audits during inventory counts. You encourage and maintain a safe work environment. You will be responsible for basic operation of computer systems and stock counters.



You encourage and foster a spirit of personal development and entrepreneurship. You keep the warehouse neat and organized at all times and adhere to warehouse floor policies and safety measures. You are adaptable to a busy, noisy and occasionally hot/cold environment. You occasionally lift product or boxes up to 20kgs. You complete other duties as assigned by Management.

Skills

You have the ability to communicate clearly and objectively, aiding to the success of the team. You have strong organizational, prioritizing, problem solving and counting skills. You are detail oriented.
