About The Role
As a Shift Supervisor, you are responsible for leading the team during your shift and ensuring smooth day-to-day restaurant operations. You will be a hands-on leader who supports, coaches and motivates the team, while maintaining high standards of food quality, customer service, safety and cleanliness.
This role is ideal for a confident team leader who thrives in a rapid-paced environment and enjoys driving performance through people.
Shift Supervisor Responsibilities
All Team Member and Team Member Trainer responsibilities, plus:
Lead and coordinate the team during your shift Supervise team performance and provide coaching and feedback Ensure all food, service and safety standards are consistently met Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner Support opening and closing procedures as required Monitor stock levels and assist with basic inventory control Assist with cash handling, POS procedures and basic reconciliations Ensure compliance with food safety, WHS and company policies Communicate effectively with management regarding shift performance
Shift Supervisor Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a supervisory role within hospitality, QSR or retail Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills Ability to train, coach and motivate team members Sound understanding of food safety, customer service and operational standards Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively
