We are seeking a kind & compassionate motivated Social Worker and NDIS Approved Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our supportive and collaborative team.

Job Type: Full Time

Hours: 38 hours per week Monday to Friday

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary Package: $92,286.48 - $107,850 plus superannuation, annual leave and personal leave entitlements.

A company vehicle will be provided to attend community therapy appointments.

Happy Peeps is an NDIS-registered mental health service dedicated to supporting individuals through Qualified Therapy, Counselling, Support Work, Behaviour Support, Psychosocial Recovery Coaching, and Support Coordination. We provide flexible care tailored to client needs, with a mobile outreach service operating across the Brisbane region and Telehealth counselling available nationwide.

Position Description - Social Work Therapist

- Deliver counselling, therapy, and Positive Behaviour Support services to adults and children across Brisbane

- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies

- Support individuals experiencing mental health and behavioural challenges

- Prepare high-quality reports, including: Positive Behaviour Support Plans, Functional Capacity Assessments and Psychosocial Assessments





- Maintain accurate and timely case notes and client records

- Monitor and evaluate client progress and outcomes

Requirements

- Bachelor/Master of Social Work (Accredited Mental Health Social Worker advantageous)

- Membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)

- NDIS Approved Behaviour Support Practitioner

- Professional Indemnity Insurance

- Hold a valid Blue Card and Yellow card

- Hold an Open Queensland Drivers Licence

- Hold a current National Police check

- Completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module

- Completed Supporting People to Stay Infection Free module

- Completed First Aid & CPR Training

- Committed to continuing professional development and awareness of current and emerging evidence-based practices

- Have excellent time management skills and be able to work autonomously.

- Have exceptional communication, interpersonal and social skills and work from a client centred approach.

- Have a friendly, positive attitude and approach and be willing to participate within a caring team environment.

- Confident with report writing and Microsoft suite.
