We're partnering with an established, privately owned contractor that has secured a strong pipeline of new projects across Northern NSW and is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to the team.
This is a hands-on role where you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of your projects from the early stages through to completion. You'll be involved in tendering and planning the work, before managing delivery onsite alongside your crews, subcontractors and clients.
What's in it for you?
- Excellent base salary + super + company vehicle
- Solid pipeline of secured work
- Variety of projects across Northern NSW
- Genuine ownership of your projects from tender through to completion
- Join an established national business with 15+ years in the industry
- Experienced leadership team and internal resources to support you
- Opportunity to work closely with senior management
- Long-term, permanent opportunity with a growing contractor
- Ongoing development and career progression
What will you do? You'll manage projects from the early planning stages through to successful delivery, with responsibilities including:
- Getting involved in tenders, site visits and pre-project planning
- Managing projects onsite through to practical completion
- Coordinating crews, subcontractors, suppliers and resources
- Managing project programmes, budgets and costs
- Working closely with clients and project stakeholders
- Procurement of materials, equipment and services
- Identifying and resolving issues throughout delivery
- Ensuring works are completed safely, on time and to the required standard
What will you need?
We're keeping this simple. If you've built your career in civil construction or infrastructure and are comfortable taking ownership of projects, we'd like to hear from you.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience delivering projects within civil construction or infrastructure
- Some experience or exposure to tendering and pricing work
- Experience coordinating site teams and subcontractors
- Good commercial awareness and confidence dealing with clients
- The ability to manage projects with a practical, hands-on approach
Experience on council or local government projects is advantageous but not essential. Whether you're an established Project Manager or a Senior Project Engineer ready to step up, we're looking for someone who can confidently take projects from tender through to completion.
