Sirv is looking for positive, energetic Disability and Psychosocial Support Superstars who are passionate about improving the lives of our clients and, importantly, have demonstrated experience working with people with complex disabilities, mental health and behaviours of concern.
This is a role for someone who is confident, capable and understands that complex support requires patience, consistency, resilience, strong boundaries and a genuine person-centred approach.

What is the opportunity?
As a Disability and Psychosocial Support Specialist, you will make a positive impact in the lives of our clients through your compassionate, professional and supportive approach.
You will be supporting clients with complex and diverse needs, including:
- Schizophrenia and other psychosocial disabilities
- Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
- Intellectual disability
- Behaviours of concern and complex behaviours
- Mental health and emotional regulation difficulties
- Complex support needs requiring a high level of consistency and structure
We are specifically looking for someone who:
- Has demonstrated experience working with people with schizophrenia and/or complex psychosocial disabilities
- Has experience supporting people with ABI/TBI
- Has experience supporting people with intellectual disability
- Has practical experience working with behaviours of concern
- Understands positive behaviour support and can follow Behaviour Support Plans and individualised support strategies
- Can remain calm, professional and consistent during periods of distress, escalation or challenging behaviour
- Is confident working within professional boundaries while building genuine and trusting relationships with clients
- Is willing and comfortable providing personal care, including showering, toileting, dressing, continence support and other personal care requirements
- Is passionate about advocating for vulnerable people and ensuring their voices are HEARD
- Understands the importance of dignity, choice, privacy, rights and promoting independence
- Is reliable, emotionally resilient and able to work effectively as part of a team
This is not an entry-level position. Due to the complexity of the clients you will be supporting, previous experience working with complex disability, psychosocial disability, ABI/TBI, intellectual disability and behaviours of concern is essential.

What we require from you:
- Demonstrated experience as a Disability Support Worker, Psychosocial Support Worker or similar role
- Experience supporting clients with schizophrenia/psychosocial disability, ABI/TBI, intellectual disability and behaviours of concern
- Availability to work across multiple shifts, including weekdays and weekends
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Updated Police Check
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Driver's licence, reliable transport and comprehensive insurance
- Valid rights to work in Australia
- Manual Handling and Hoist Training would be desirable
- Relevant qualifications in Disability, Individual Support, Mental Health or a related field would be desirable
