About the Role
We're looking for a reliable and motivated Dockhand to join our Wagga Wagga, NSW team in a permanent part-time position, 20 hours per week.
No previous freight or warehouse experience is required – if you're reliable, willing to learn and comfortable with physical work, we'll provide the training you need.
This is a hands-on role where you'll help sort, load and unload freight, prepare shipments for dispatch and keep freight moving safely and efficiently through the depot.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 4:30am – 8:30am
What You'll Do
- Manually handle and sort parcel freight onto the conveyor system safely and efficiently
- Sort parcel freight into designated freight cages and delivery runs
- Complete residential parcel deliveries when required, providing friendly and professional customer service
- Assist with general warehouse, dock and freight handling duties
- Keep the work area clean, safe and organised
- Work with the operations team to meet daily service and performance requirements
- Follow all safety procedures and operational standards
What You'll Bring
- No previous freight or logistics experience required – full training will be provided
- Current C Class Driver's Licence required
- Forklift (LF) licence desirable but not essential
- Comfortable with repetitive lifting, manual handling and working on your feet
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
- Strong commitment to working safely
