Job Description

Join our dedicated Rehabilitation team as a Part-Time Enrolled Nurse, providing high-quality, patient-centred nursing care to support patients throughout their rehabilitation and recovery journey.

Working collaboratively with Registered Nurses, allied health professionals and the broader multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the delivery of safe and effective care while supporting patients to achieve their individual goals and maximise their independence.

About You

You are a compassionate and dedicated Enrolled Nurse who is committed to providing holistic, high-quality nursing care. You have a sound understanding of your scope of practice and can apply current nursing knowledge and theory to your clinical practice.

You are confident communicating with patients, families and colleagues and demonstrate excellent customer service. You can make sound decisions, take responsibility for your own practice and work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide safe,



high-quality and patient-centred nursing care to rehabilitation patients.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with the Registered Nurse and multidisciplinary team.
- Support patients to achieve their individual rehabilitation and recovery goals.
- Apply current nursing theory and knowledge to provide holistic care.
- Administer medications, including IV medications where within scope of practice, in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
- Monitor patients and recognise and report changes in their clinical condition.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, nursing staff and allied health professionals.
- Promote patient independence, dignity and participation in their rehabilitation journey.
- Maintain infection prevention, patient safety and quality care standards.
- Work within your scope of practice and seek guidance or escalate concerns when required.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team workplace.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development.

You Will Also Bring

- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse, without notation.
- Successful completion of IV medication administration education.
- Sound understanding of Enrolled Nurse scope of practice and relevant legislation.
- Knowledge and ability to competently apply current nursing theory and provide holistic nursing care.
- Strong clinical assessment and observation skills.
- Ability to make sound clinical decisions and accept responsibility for your own practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service.
