This is a Financial Controller role built around real ownership.
Australian owned business with over 20 years in operation, delivering non-destructive excavation, hydro excavation and civil support services across construction, infrastructure and transport sectors. The business is growing, and it's looking for someone to help lead the next stage of that growth.
Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll lead the Administration team and take ownership of financial management, reporting, compliance, budgeting and strategic planning. You'll monitor profitability across projects and divisions, support tender pricing and capital investment decisions, and manage relationships with financiers directly.

- What you'll need:
- CPA or CA qualification, with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role
- Robust knowledge of Australian taxation, payroll and financial reporting requirements
- Advanced Excel and ERP skills, Xero or MYOB experience ideal
- Excellent analytical, communication and leadership skills
- Construction, civil, transport or infrastructure industry experience highly regarded
