About the role

The Golf Sanctuary is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis. Based in Clayton VIC 3168, this role is essential to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene that our members and guests expect. As a Cleaner, you will play a vital part in creating a welcoming and well-maintained environment across our facilities, directly contributing to the positive experience of everyone who visits The Golf Sanctuary.

Key responsibilities

- Perform daily cleaning duties throughout the golf facility, including changing rooms, bathrooms, and common spaces

- Empty waste bins and replace liners regularly to maintain cleanliness standards

- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, ensuring toilets, sinks, mirrors and floors are spotless and hygienic

- Vacuum carpeted areas and sweep and mop hard floors to maintain appearance and safety

- Dust and clean furniture, desks, and other surfaces throughout the facility

- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels as needed

- Report any maintenance issues or damage observed during cleaning tasks

- Follow all health and safety procedures and use cleaning products appropriately

- Work flexibly to accommodate the facility's operating schedule

What we're looking for

- Proven experience working as a Cleaner or in a similar cleaning role, preferably in a hospitality or leisure environment

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively





- Physical capability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift moderately heavy items

- Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work part-time hours flexibly

- Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and experience using cleaning equipment and products

- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanour
