Our client is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join a well-established workshop operation based in O'Sullivan Beach, South Australia.
This is a hands-on workshop role with accountability for the assembly and fit-up of heavy structural steel components, including beams, platforms, and fabricated assemblies. Working from detailed fabrication drawings, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality projects while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

About You




You are a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality fitting and assembly work. You have strong attention to detail, can confidently interpret technical drawings, and enjoy working within a collaborative workshop environment. Your commitment to safety, quality, and productivity makes you a valuable member of any team.

You Will Bring

- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent industry experience
- Proven experience in heavy fabrication fitting and assembly
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and tolerances
- Construction White Card
- Overhead crane competency
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

Highly Regarded:

- Dogging and/or Rigging tickets
- Forklift Licence (LF)
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket
- Working at Heights certification
- Full Australian working rights
