We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Gardener to join the team at Fremantle Village Caravan Park. This full time role is based in South Fremantle, WA 6162 and will be responsible for maintaining the gardens and landscaping of our thriving Caravan Park.
What you'll be doing
- Performing regular garden maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, weeding and mulching
- Caring for and nurturing a variety of plants, trees and shrubs
- Identifying and treating pests and diseases affecting the garden
- Maintaining garden equipment and tools in good working order
- Assisting with the installation and upkeep of irrigation systems
- Collaborating with the wider facilities team to ensure the grounds are well-presented
- Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures
What we're looking for
- At least 2-3 years' experience as a professional gardener or horticulturist
- Strong knowledge of plant types,
care and maintenance
- Ability to operate a range of gardening equipment and machinery
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
- A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- A current driver's licence and your own reliable transportation
