About the Role

Security Services WA is seeking experienced and reliable Security Officers and Crowd Controllers to join our growing team for an immediate start.

We currently have opportunities available across permanent licensed venue positions and casual static guarding roles throughout Perth.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and expanding security team responsible for protecting people, property and assets while maintaining a secure and secure environment for our clients, staff and members of the public.

Our casual positions offer flexibility, with opportunities to work across a variety of sites and industries. We service multiple locations across Perth’s northern suburbs, southern suburbs and CBD, providing ongoing opportunities for suitable officers.

We are looking for professional, reliable and confident security personnel who take pride in delivering a high standard of service and representing both Security Services WA and our clients professionally.

Key responsibilities

- Monitoring and patrolling designated areas to detect and prevent unauthorised access, theft and other security breaches





- Maintain a safe and secure workplace for patrons, staff and venue management.

- Monitor entry and exit points and manage patron access.

- Conduct ID checks and ensure compliance with venue entry requirements.

- Monitor patron behaviour and identify intoxication, aggression or potential disturbances.

- Conducting security checks of premises, including inspecting doors, windows, locks and alarm systems

- Responding promptly to security incidents and alerts, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks

- Maintaining detailed logs and incident reports documenting all security-related activities and observations

- Controlling access to premises by checking identification and verifying credentials of personnel and visitors

- Operating security equipment including CCTV systems, alarm monitoring systems and access control systems

- Providing professional customer service and maintaining a visible security presence to deter potential threats

- Communicating effectively with clients, emergency services and other team members when necessary

- Adhering to all security protocols, procedures and company policies at all times

What we're looking for

- Current Security License issued by the Western Australian Police

- Valid First Aid Certificate

- RSA





- Proven minimum 3 years experience in Crowd Control sector

- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify and assess potential security risks and suspicious activity

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations

- High level of integrity, trustworthiness and professional discretion

- Physical fitness and the ability to perform regular patrols and stand for extended periods

- Reliable, punctual and able to work flexibly across various shift patterns, including evenings and weekends

- Willingness to undertake additional training and professional development as required

- Valid driving licence and access to reliable transportation
