About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to join our Commissioning, Operations and Maintenance team in a full time, permanent position based at our Melbourne CBD head office.

Reporting to the Team Lead, Asset Management, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of transmission and transmission-connected assets. This includes overseeing operations and maintenance performance, manage stakeholder relationships, ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations, and supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of asset management services.

You will play an active role in operational activities by providing technical expertise and on-site support during maintenance works, planned outages, and asset-related events as required.

*There will be a requirement of this role to travel to our project sites.

In this role you will:

- Deliver end-to-end performance, reliability and lifecycle management of transmission and transmission-connected infrastructure assets.

- Oversee Operations & Maintenance (O&M;) contracts to ensure safe, compliant and cost-effective service delivery.

- Drive asset availability, performance and compliance with contractual, regulatory,



network and environmental requirements.

- Coordinate and support planned and unplanned maintenance activities, outages, fault response and incident investigations.

- Manage asset risks, defect rectification, warranty obligations, handover close-out activities and continuous asset improvement initiatives.

- Lead stakeholder engagement with clients, network operators, contractors, regulators and internal teams, acting as the primary asset management contact.

- Monitor financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variation management and cost control across asset portfolios.

- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of asset management frameworks, maintenance strategies, safety systems and operational processes to optimise whole-of-life asset value.

To succeed in this role you will have:

- Degree qualified in Engineering or a related discipline, with additional asset management or project management qualifications highly regarded.

- Proven experience managing electrical transmission, distribution, generation or major infrastructure assets.

- Strong understanding of asset management principles, maintenance strategies and lifecycle optimisation.

- Sound knowledge of electrical asset operations and maintenance practices.





- Experience managing contractors, operational service providers and maintenance contracts.

- Strong commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control and variation management.

- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external teams.

- Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance, continuous improvement and delivering outcomes aligned with organisational values.
