The Role
Applications are invited for the position of Claims Support Officer.

As a member of our team, you will:
- Proactively engage with members of the public, offering empathetic and professional support during challenging times.
- Provide clear guidance and advice on the services and assistance available through the Insurance Commission.
- Help customers navigate their recovery journey, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and empowered every step of the way.
This is a 12-month fixed term position, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.
The Person
You bring strong capability in providing customer-focused support by building strong working relationships, anticipating client needs, and responding professionally to a diverse range of stakeholders. You are a great communicator who uses clear verbal and written communication to ensure information is conveyed accurately and respectfully.
You will be able to work collaboratively within a team environment, contributing positively to shared goals and fostering productive working relationships. You will also be proficient in using word processing and related office applications to efficiently prepare, manage, and maintain documentation and administrative tasks.

The Insurance Commission is a State owned Government Trading Enterprise that provides motor injury insurance to 2.7 million Western Australian motorists and manages the self-insurance arrangements of the Western Australian Government.

Appointment Information
In addition to the immediately available position, appointments may be made from this process within a twelve-month period to similar positions that may be permanent or contract, including fixed term appointments with the possibility of extension or subsequent permanency.
