The George Centre is seeking a dedicated and experienced Part Time Registered Nurses to join our team of professionals in providing excellent patient care.
As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:
- Provide evidenced based nursing care in an acute setting
- Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
- Ensure patient and staff safety
- Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
- Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
- Understanding of the National Safety and Quality Health Service standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work both independently and within a team structure
- The ability to always act in a professional manner
Selection Criteria:
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Works well independently and within a team
- Basic computer skills
- Demonstrated risk management and WHS
- Ability to review and implement continuous improvement programs
- Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster
