About the role

SM Hair Studio is seeking a Qualified Hairdresser to join our talented team in Bendigo, Victoria. This is a part-time position offering flexibility whilst maintaining the high standards of service our clients expect. As a Qualified Hairdresser, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional hair services, working with clients to create their desired looks whilst building lasting relationships. This role is essential to our studio's reputation for excellence and contributes directly to our clients' confidence and satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

- Providing a full range of hairdressing services, including cutting, colouring, styling and treatments to clients

- Consulting with clients to understand their requirements and recommend appropriate services and products

- Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and safety within the salon environment

- Managing client bookings and ensuring appointments run smoothly and on schedule

- Delivering exceptional customer service to create a welcoming and professional experience

- Using professional equipment and products competently and safely

- Keeping up to date with current hair trends, techniques and industry developments

- Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting colleagues when required

What we're looking for

- Current qualification in hairdressing (Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent)

- Demonstrated experience working as a qualified hairdresser in a professional salon setting

- Proficiency in a range of hairdressing techniques including cutting, colouring and styling





- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients

- Commitment to maintaining professional health, safety and hygiene standards

- Reliable, punctual and flexible approach to part-time work

- Passion for hair and beauty services and staying current with industry trends

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting

- Must be available to work late night trade on a Thursday night and some Saturday mornings
