About the role

As a Parts Interpreter, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers while supporting the day-to-day operation of our parts department. This is a wide-ranging hands-on role that supports both our internal service department and external customers. The role includes day-to-day parts interpreting responsibilities, while also contributing to stock control, warehouse coordination and process improvement across the parts operation. Reporting to the Parts and Logistics Manager, you'll become part of a supportive team that plays an significant role in keeping our customers and workshop operating efficiently.

Key responsibilities

- Respond to internal and external customer parts enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions





- Manage parts enquiries from initial request through to supply and completion

- Identify, interpret and source parts accurately and efficiently

- Process quotations, sales orders and customer payments

- Support the in-house service department with parts requirements

- Pick, pack and dispatch parts as required

- Assist with stock control and general warehouse activities

- Work collaboratively with colleagues across service, sales and administration

- Maintain a secure, organised and efficient work environment

About you

- Enjoys delivering outstanding customer service

- Excellent communicator and ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and experience levels

- Works methodically and can prioritise tasks in a busy environment

- Robust attention to detail, organised, resourceful and process driven

- Reliable, motivated and enjoys working both autonomously and as part of a team

- Sound computer skills and the ability to learn new systems

- A Safety First and Continuous Improvement mindset

- Holds a current driver's licence

- Experience in the automotive parts industry, commercial vehicle, truck or bus preferred

- Current forklift licence, or willingness to obtain one, highly regarded
