Your opportunity
Every donation collected and every delivery completed helps fund programs and services that support vulnerable people across our communities.
As our Op Shop Driver, you will play an essential role in collecting, transporting and delivering donated goods safely and efficiently across Anglicare's retail network. Through your commitment to exceptional service, safety and operational excellence, you'll help ensure our Op Shops remain well-stocked and continue generating vital funds that support people in need.
With integrity and resilience, you will:
- Collect and deliver donated goods between Anglicare Op Shops, distribution centres and other locations
- Safely load, unload and transport clothing, furniture, household goods and other donations
- Maintain delivery schedules while ensuring vehicle safety, cleanliness and compliance requirements are met
- Build positive relationships with donors, customers, volunteers and store teams through excellent customer service
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance delivery processes and operational efficiency
What you'll bring
You are reliable, customer-focused and enjoy working independently while contributing to a supportive team setting. You take pride in delivering excellent service and maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
You also share our organisational values of integrity, justice, compassion and excellence.
You will also need:
- Current NSW Driver Licence (or equivalent)
- Ability to safely lift, move and handle donated goods and stock
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety practices
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
Ideally, you will also have:
- Experience in delivery driving, transport, warehousing or logistics
- Experience working in a retail, not-for-profit or customer service environment
- Ability to work proactively with minimal supervision
- Experience coordinating stock movements across multiple locations
- A positive and flexible approach to supporting operational requirements
