The role:

We're on the hunt for an experienced and energetic Assistant Store Manager to join our brand-new Eastland store, opening in November 2026!

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the opening team and help bring the store to life from day one.

Working closely with the Store Manager, you'll play a key role in building the team, establishing our store culture and creating an exceptional customer experience.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll support the Store Manager across all aspects of store operations while leading from the front, coaching and developing the team, and driving strong sales and operational performance. You'll help set the standards that will shape the success of the store from opening day and beyond.

What you'll do:

- Help build a customer-centric, development-focused culture that delivers outstanding team and customer experiences.

- Lead by example and inspire the team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve store KPIs.

- Support the Store Manager across Sales, People, Compliance, Visual Merchandising, Wages and Safety.

- Assist with daily store operations, including stock management, loss prevention, store presentation and promotional execution.

- Coach, train and develop team members to build capability and support career growth.

- Support the recruitment, onboarding and retention of a high-performing team.

- Assist with roster and wage management to balance operational efficiency and customer experience.

- Monitor store performance and identify opportunities to improve sales and service outcomes.





- Ensure the store maintains a safe, compliant and positive environment.

- Support the implementation of City Beach projects, initiatives and campaigns.

- Step into the Store Manager's responsibilities when required.

What you'll bring:

- 1+ years' experience in a customer service-focused management or leadership role.

- Experience in fast-paced retail, FMCG or hospitality is highly regarded.

- A proven ability to lead, coach and motivate a team.

- Strong customer service and sales focus with an understanding of retail KPIs.

- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

- An energetic, hands-on and enthusiastic approach to leadership.

- A passion for developing people and creating an exceptional customer experience.
