About the Centre
RecWest Braybrook is a recreation centre and sports complex located in Kinder Smith Reserve, Braybrook, Melbourne.
We run a variety of fun programs and activities for children: from basketball, netball and volleyball to gymnastics, soccer and our school holiday sport program.
We also run sport for adults such as table tennis, as well as senior social sport. We cater to people of all abilities and our qualified staff are ready to help you reach your fitness goals.
We host accessible sport programs and birthday parties, plus we have a range of facilities for hire.
Looking for a space to play sport? Whether it's a futsal, basketball, netball or volleyball - our courts are available for casual bookings.
About the role
As a Duty Supervisor at RecWest Braybrook you will;
- Open and close the facility, customer service and cafe area as needed.
- Set up and pack up of equipment for various sporting activities that are conducted within the centre.
- Monitor and actively manage users of the centre whilst on shift.
- Report hazards, keep facility safe and clean facility as needed.
- Lead Customer Service, maintain and complete all checklists, report any issues to Management.
This role would require you to be available to work Fridays and weekends. This is a permanent part-time position and the hourly rate is $33.87 + superannuation + Y benefits.
About you
As a Duty Supervisor you will act as positive role model in an effort to build strong people, strong families and strong communities, as well as identifying potential risk factors and taking steps to reduce those risks. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children, young people and all facility users.
Essential Qualifications
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
Other Desired Qualifications or Knowledge
- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Legislation is an advantage
- Previous experience in a similar facility in a supervisory role is desirable
