About the role
Our client is seeking an experienced ILS Consultant to support a range of current and upcoming Defence engagements. You'll work across acquisition, sustainment, and capability delivery programs, applying ILS methodologies end-to-end and engaging directly with Defence and industry stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Apply ILS and Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) methodologies across the capability life cycle
- Contribute to maintenance planning, supportability analysis, and sustainment planning activities
- Develop and review technical data, training, and support system documentation
- Support reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) analysis and reporting
- Engage with stakeholders across CASG, SPOs, Defence Industry, and program offices
- Support transition-to-service and in-service support activities as programs mature
About you
- Demonstrated ILS experience within a Defence environment
- Experience supporting Defence acquisition, sustainment, or capability delivery programs
- Sound understanding of LSA, maintenance planning, supportability, technical data, training, reliability, and sustainment planning
- Experience working within CASG, an SPO, Defence Industry, or on major Defence programs
Highly desirable
- Experience with ASDEFCON-framework projects
- Land, Maritime, Aerospace, EW, or Joint capability experience
- Defence sustainment and transition-to-service experience
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
Key — Eligibility & Export Controls
Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold an NV1 or higher Australian Government security clearance. Some engagements are subject to US International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and other export control requirements; as such, citizenship, nationality, and country of birth may be considered as part of the application assessment where required to comply with applicable export control laws.
