Based at our Wingfield facility, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing business and play a key role in delivering complex, high-quality projects for some of Australia’s most demanding industries.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Lead Program & Project Manager, you will take ownership of multiple projects from initial planning through to successful completion.

You’ll work closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, to specification and to the highest quality standards.

This is a hands-on role where your organisation, commercial awareness and ability to build strong relationships will make a real difference.

What You'll Be Doing

- Lead and coordinate projects from planning through to completion

- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resources and deliverables

- Work closely with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders

- Source materials, obtain supplier quotations and monitor project costs

- Identify, assess and manage project risks

- Ensure projects comply with quality and business requirements

- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation

- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues

- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and suppliers

- Participate in post-project reviews and lessons-learned activities

- Identify and contribute to continuous improvement opportunities

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for a confident,



organised and commercially minded Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing workplace.

You'll bring:

- Minimum 4 years’ project management experience within Defence or Manufacturing

- Strong planning, coordination and organisational skills

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

- A high level of attention to detail

- The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure

- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings

- Previous experience working within quality management systems

- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement

It would be great if you also have:

- Diploma in Project Management or an Engineering Degree

- Experience in fabrication and/or machining

- Knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing and tooling

- Experience working within an AS9100 quality environment
