Picton Civil is seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team, working across both field service and workshop environments.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on mechanic who enjoys variety and working on a broad range of earthmoving, heavy vehicle and road transport equipment, while still being home every night.

About the role

You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a range of earthmoving, heavy vehicle and road transport equipment. The role will involve a combination of field service and workshop-based repairs, providing plenty of variety and keeping every day different.

Key responsibilities

- Servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing earthmoving, heavy vehicle and road transport equipment

- Field service and workshop-based repairs

About you

- Holds relevant trade qualifications

- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical diagnostic skills

- Can confidently work independently and as part of a team

- Takes pride in quality workmanship and getting the job done right

- Strong commitment to safety

- Holds a current driver's licence

- Reliable, punctual and willing to work overtime when required
