Launch Recruitment is representing a well-established, mature software business delivering customer-facing systems on the lookout for a Senior Technical Services Consultant to help shape the next stage of their infrastructure and operations maturity.

You'll sit at the intersection of hands-on technical operations and strategic change, contributing to infrastructure design, driving process improvement, and playing an active role in project discovery and uplift initiatives

Responsibilities include:
Managing and evolving Windows/Linux environments across AWS and Azure cloud (AWS expertise highly desirable)
Overseeing Active Directory, Exchange, DNS/DHCP and file services
Working across network infrastructure, routers, firewalls, VPNs, TCP
Managing relationships with internal and external IT service providers
Reporting on SLAs and operational metrics
Approving production migrations and infrastructure changes into support
Mentoring junior TechOps team members when required




Contributing to infrastructure design and discovery phases of enterprise projects
On-call requirements once per month

What you'll bring:
Solid experience administering Windows/Linux environments and cloud platforms (AWS and Azure)
Strong grounding in AD, Exchange, DNS/DHCP and file sharing services
In-depth network infrastructure knowledge
A good working understanding of databases (DBA-level expertise not required)
Proven experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (PowerShell, Python, Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar), with a track record of reducing manual effort and improving platform reliability
AWS/Azure certifications - desirable
A genuine appetite for process improvement and enterprise-level change management
Self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously
Strong communication skills are a non-negotiable
