Your new company:

This not-for-profit organisation is dedicated to delivering meaningful services that make a positive impact across the community. Due to an increase in workforce initiatives and operational priorities, an experienced HR Business Partner is required to join the People & Culture team on an initial 6-month contract.

Your new role:
As a trusted HR Business Partner, you will support leaders across a diverse workforce, providing pragmatic and commercially sound HR advice while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industrial instruments.
Key responsibilities will include:
Partnering with managers on employee relations and performance management matters
Managing workplace investigations, grievances and disciplinary processes
Providing expert advice on the interpretation and application of SCHADS Awards and employment legislation
Supporting organisational change initiatives and workforce planning activities
Coaching leaders on people management best practice
Assisting with policy development, compliance and workforce risk management
Contributing to employee engagement and culture initiatives




Working collaboratively with stakeholders to drive positive people outcomes

What you'll need to succeed:
Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or equivalent
Strong employee relations expertise, including managing complex casework
Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying the SCHADS Award
Experience within the not-for-profit, community services, disability, aged care or healthcare sectors will be highly regarded
Sound understanding of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards and contemporary HR practices
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
Ability to work autonomously in a rapid-paced and evolving setting
