The Opportunity

Our client are seeking a highly experienced Construction Director / Licensed Builder to lead the delivery of residential projects across NSW. This role will oversee a portfolio of medium-density and volume housing developments , including detached homes, duplexes, and townhouses.

This is a key leadership position within a growing, vertically integrated development and construction business, offering robust autonomy and long-term career progression.

Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple residential construction projects
Manage programme, cost, quality, and safety outcomes across all sites
Oversee site teams, supervisors, subcontractors, and consultants
Drive construction efficiency, productivity, and delivery performance
Manage budgets, procurement, and cost control processes
Contribute to value engineering and buildability reviews
Ensure compliance with NCC, Australian Standards, and WHS requirements
Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, consultants, and authorities

About You




10+ years’ experience in residential construction (hands-on site background essential)
Current NSW Class 1 Builder Licence (mandatory)
Class 2 Licence (highly regarded)
Degree qualified in Construction, Engineering, or related discipline
Proven experience delivering volume housing, townhouse, or multi-unit projects
Strong commercial acumen (budgeting, procurement, cost control)
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and teams
Confident leader with a hands-on, solutions-driven approach
