We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Field Engineer to join a respected Australian contracting business delivering large-scale energy and resources projects nationwide.
This permanent position offers the chance to play a key role on a major LNG and infrastructure development, working within a team that values safety, collaboration, and community.
The Role
As the on-site technical authority for electrical works, you’ll bridge design and field execution—ensuring installations meet specification, safety, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to construction and supervision teams
Interpret electrical drawings and specifications accurately
Identify and resolve field engineering issues promptly
Verify quality per Australian Standards (AS/NZS 3000) and project requirements
Champion safety and contribute to commissioning and handover activities
About You
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
5+ years’ field-based experience on large construction projects
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Knowledge of hazardous area (Ex) electrical systems desirable
FIFO or remote-site experience preferred
Full working rights in Australia
