Fletcher Physiotherapy is looking for a motivated Physiotherapist to join our growing team and assist with increasing demand across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie.
This is a flexible casual, part time or contractor opportunity, ideal for a physiotherapist looking for additional hours or a role that can grow over time.
About the Role
The position will primarily involve community and home-visit physiotherapy, with opportunities for clinic-based work depending on availability and demand.
Our caseload includes:
NDIS participants
Support at Home / aged care clients
Older adults and falls prevention
Musculoskeletal and chronic pain presentations
Rehabilitation and mobility programs
Private clients
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments
Develop individualised treatment and exercise programs
Provide rehabilitation, mobility, balance and falls-prevention interventions
Complete appropriate clinical documentation and progress reports
Communicate with families, support workers, care coordinators and other health professionals
Manage your allocated caseload with support from our team
Requirements
AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Willingness to travel between clients across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie
Appropriate professional indemnity insurance
Robust communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently in community settings
Experience with NDIS, aged care or community physiotherapy is desirable but not essential. Support and guidance can be provided to physiotherapists who are new to these areas.
