Bank of China is seeking an energetic and highly motivated Senior Associate to join our Corporate Banking team in Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to business development, client relationship management, and credit operations within a globally respected financial institution.
This is a Two Year Term Contract, with solid potential to convert to an ongoing role upon successful completion.
Responsibilities
Assistinidentifyinganddevelopingnewbusinessopportunities,supporting the delivery of comprehensive banking solutions to corporate clients
Support relationship managers in maintaining and growing existing client relationships through proactive account servicing
Conduct preliminary credit analysis and prepare credit applications, annual reviews, and related documentation under supervision
Assist in post-lending management, including monitoring clients' credit profile changes and preparing relevant reports
Oversee group customer credit facilities, credit limits, major project onboarding, and post-lending administration
Liaise and coordinate with relevant Head Office divisions on policy implementation,
business coordination, and statistical reporting
Conduct industry research and market analysis to support business development initiatives and credit strategy planning
Deliver comprehensive administrative and ad hoc support across the full spectrum of corporate banking operations, from deposits and lending to cross-selling initiatives
To be considered, possessing following skills and experience are essential:
A minimum of 3 years' banking experience, with a preference for corporate or institutional banking backgrounds
A tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
Strong knowledge in corporate lending, and corporate related products and services
Robust skills in credit, financial modeling and analysis
Sound understanding of market dynamics and relevant regulatory requirements
Excellent analytical and numerical skills with solid attention to detail
Superior interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in both English and Mandarin (verbal and written)
