About the Role
As a regular volunteer, you may support our teams across our Retail Stores, Containers for Change depots, or roles at Canning Vale (Warehouse, Kitchen/Canteen, Admin). Roles vary depending on location and availability, and volunteers are required to commit to regular shifts
What We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from people who are:
Reliable, committed, and enthusiastic
Able to work as part of a diverse and inclusive team
Comfortable following workplace policies and safety requirements
Available for regular, ongoing volunteering (days and hours to be discussed)
Minimum age 15 years old
Mandatory Requirements
(Please note: commencement is subject to all clearances and requirements being completed and approved.)
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Required for adults and for under 18s
Not required by a person who has as support worker with them during shifts
Cost $11, reimbursed to you after commencing volunteering
Police Clearance
Required for all adults
Not required for anyone under 18
Paid by Good Sammy, if done via our Fit2work portal (link provided during onboarding)
NDIS online Training Module
Required for adults and for under 18s
Not required by a person who has as support worker with them during shifts
Valuable Sammy Induction – 1 day
Available on set dates
In Person, at our head office in Canning Vale, or
Join a live session online via Teams (preference given to those in regional locations)
