Cooma School for Early Learning is seeking a motivated and hands-on Trainee Educator to join its early childhood team. This role is ideal for someone eager to begin a career in early education while contributing to a protected, positive and nurturing setting for children.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced educators, supporting the delivery of engaging, play-based learning experiences and actively participating in daily routines. This is an excellent prospect to learn on the job while working towards a formal qualification.

Key Responsibilities:
Support educators in delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences
Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
Actively participate in daily routines with a “hands-on” approach
Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and inclusive learning environment
Supervise and engage with children during play, routines and transitions




Follow all service policies and procedures, with a strong commitment to child-protected standards
Learn from experienced educators and contribute to observations and documentation

Requirements:
Willingness to undertake a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn
Commitment to child safety and professional conduct

Essential Criteria:
Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to complete)
