As a Chocolate Tester at our Melbourne facility, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and flavour of our chocolate products. This position is essential for maintaining our high standards of excellence in the manufacturing and production industry. You will be responsible for evaluating chocolate samples, providing feedback on taste and texture, and contributing to product development, thereby directly impacting customer satisfaction and brand reputation.
Responsibilities:
Conduct sensory evaluations of chocolate samples to assess flavour, texture, and overall quality.
Provide detailed feedback and reports on chocolate products to the production team.
Collaborate with product development teams to refine recipes and improve product offerings.
Maintain accurate records of testing results and sensory evaluations.
Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards during testing processes.
Participate in training sessions to enhance tasting skills and knowledge of chocolate production.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a food tasting or quality control role, preferably within the confectionery industry.
Solid sensory evaluation skills with a keen palate for chocolate flavours.
