We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates across a range of projects, supporting both pre-construction and tender processes. You’ll play a key role in ensuring project feasibility, profitability, and strategic alignment.
This role is a full time position based in our Subiaco office, with site visits as required.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and submit detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions
Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates
Identify and assess project productivities,
assumptions, risks and opportunities
Lead continual improvement by feeding outcomes into estimating templates and cost libraries
Prepare handover packages to Project Managers, clearly outlining the scope, risks and key inputs
Liaise with engineers, clients, subcontractors and suppliers on project requirements
Mentor junior estimators and contribute to team development
Requirements
Proven experience as a Senior Estimator in civil construction.
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related field
Strong knowledge of Candy estimating software and tools
High proficiency in Excel and document control systems
Ability to travel to site as required
Construction Card (desirable)
