We are looking for an experienced Internal Sales & Dispatch Assistant to join our team and support the day-to-day running of our sales and dispatch functions.
About the Role
Working closely with our Sales & Dispatch Coordinator, you’ll provide support across internal sales, customer service, order processing and dispatch administration.
This is a varied role suited to someone who understands a manufacturing, building products or distribution setting and enjoys working across both customers and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage customer enquiries by phone and email
Prepare quotes and enter sales orders
Follow up customer orders and provide updates
Prepare pick slips, freight labels and dispatch paperwork
Track deliveries and resolve basic freight enquiries
Liaise with the warehouse regarding orders and priorities
Assist with stock checks and general administration
Identify and report stock shortages or discrepancies
Skills & Experience
Experience in internal sales, preferably within manufacturing, building products, timber or a similar industry
Solid attention to detail and accuracy
Confident communication and phone manner
Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced small‑team environment
Competent with computers and able to learn new systems
A positive, reliable attitude and willingness to support the team
