Essential Skills:
Proficiency in programming languages likes COBOL, PL/I and JCL.
Familiarity with database management systems (IMS/DB2).
Knowledge of CICS.
Understanding of mainframe security principals and protocols.
Ability to work with batch processing and job scheduling.
