Laing O'Rourke Rail Operations Western Australia is rapidly growing and looking for experienced Rail Safeworking personnel to join our team.
We are currently undergoing a large amount works across Perth and surrounding areas, including the Morley to Ellenbrook Line project, Byford Rail Extension, Swan River Crossing project, regional track maintenance and upgrade works, as well specialised regional track installation works.
We are currently recruiting for multiple Rail Safeworking personnel to join our team based out of our Malaga Depot. You will be required to work across all our Perth sites, implementing varying levels of Safeworking protection for activities being undertaken in the rail corridor. There is potential to travel to regional areas as and when required.
To be successful you will be able ideally fulfil the requirements below:
Current C Class Drivers Licence
Construction industry white card
Rail Industry Worker Card (RIW), with the following:
PTA Safeworking PO1, PO2, PO3 and PRES. PPO desirable
ARC Safeworking PO,
PPO desirable
TLIC0025 Pilot Rail Traffic within a Work on Track Authority highly desirable
Holds or able to pass a Rail Worker CAT 1 medical
Certificate II or III in Rail Infrastructure is highly desirable but not essential
Previous Safeworking experience will be highly regarded

Commited to ensuring that all requirements of Safeworking rules are implemented in the field
Excellent communicators and able to confidently work with high performance rail teams
Able to work weekends and nightshifts when required
Follow Laing O’Rourke Next Gear Safety Principles
Undertake additional training as and when required
