Job Summary
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Panel beater to join their team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicle panels to their original condition.
Key Responsibilities
Assessing and identifying the extent of vehicle damage
Repairing and replacing damaged panels using appropriate tools and techniques
Filling and sanding body panels to ensure a smooth finish
Removing dents and scratches from panels
Welding and shaping metal panels as needed
Preparing and applying paint to repaired panels
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and meets industry safety standards
Communicating with customers to provide updates on repair progress and answer any questions
Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Following all company policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills
Trade qualification in Panelbeating or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and equipment
Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
Solid problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Valid driver's license
