Salary: $70,000-80,000 AUD per year, including superannuation.

Job Summary: This person will be responsible for attending site, measuring, preparing shop drawings using CAD, managing shop drawings through all stages until client approval, and working with the operations management team during the fabrication, supply, and installation process to confirm set out and dimensions, and parts and installation drawings.

Duties & Responsibilities
Project managing, coordinating, managing, and designing shop drawings, and as-built drawings along with other associated activities from commencement to completion of the project.
Attend site for set up & client interaction; instruct and supervise installers, interpret and explain shop drawings, and mark up site for installation of prefabricated panels/products/materials.
Facilitate any needed design changes during construction and assemble as-built/constructed plans.

Skills & Experience required
At least 2 years of experience as a draftsperson using AutoCAD.
At least 2 years of experience working with balustrades, handrails, or facades and glass.
Familiarity with NCC/BCA/AS.
Owns a car and a driver’s license.
Basic project management skills.




Positive understanding of the construction process and metal fabrication processes.
Experience with as-built drawings, including independently taking as-built measurements and making as-built drawings and layout sketches.

7:30 am / 8:00 am – early starts in line with our factory hours.
