Senior Solution Architect - Contract - Brisbane

We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect with 10+ years of experience to design and deliver scalable, secure, high-performing enterprise solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure, AI/ML capabilities, .NET Core, and microservices architecture. This role will bridge business requirements with technical solutions and lead architecture decisions.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect with 10+ years of experience to design and deliver scalable, secure, high-performing enterprise solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure, AI/ML capabilities, .NET Core, and microservices architecture. This role will bridge business requirements with technical solutions and lead architecture decisions.

Key Responsibilities
Define end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise applications on Azure cloud
Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient architectures
Design cloud-native applications using micro services, APIs, and containers
Lead Azure-based solution design across compute, networking, storage, and security
Drive cloud migration, modernisation, and optimisation initiatives




Architect AI/ML-driven solutions and guide PoC to production implementations
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and governance
Ensure performance, security, scalability, and compliance

Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of IT experience with strong exposure to solution architecture
Expertise in Microsoft Azure
Robust experience with .NET Core and API development including integrations
Experience in micro services architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience in AI/ML or intelligent automation solutions
Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud automation
Solid understanding of distributed systems and architecture patterns

Preferred Qualifications
Azure certifications
Experience with Azure AI services
Exposure to event-driven architectures and streaming platforms
Experience in Agile/DevOps environments
