You will provide person-centred support guided by each participant’s care plan, goals, preferences and assessed needs. Work is community-based and may involve travel between participants across Aireys Inlet, Anglesea, Torquay, Jan Juc, Bells Beach and Bellbrae.

About the role

You will provide person-centred support guided by each participant’s care plan, goals, preferences and assessed needs. Work is community-based and may involve travel between participants across Aireys Inlet, Anglesea, Torquay, Jan Juc, Bells Beach and Bellbrae.

What you may do
Personal care, including assistance with showering, dressing and grooming
Domestic assistance and light household tasks
Social support, companionship and assistance with community participation
Meal preparation and shopping assistance
Transport to appointments, shopping and community activities
Observe and report changes in a participant’s wellbeing, needs or circumstances




Complete accurate service records and follow care plans, policies and secure work practices

What you will bring
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing), Aged Care or a relevant qualification, or currently working towards one
A current National Police Check and any other screening required for the role
A current driver licence and a reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle
A current First Aid and CPR certificate, or willingness to obtain these paid for by the organization
Solid communication skills, empathy, reliability and respect for participant choice, privacy and dignity
Confidence working independently in participants’ homes and using mobile systems for documentation
