We’re partnering with a global technology vendor expanding its footprint across the Australian retail market, and are looking to bring on a commercially driven Business Development Manager to support that growth.

This role sits at the intersection of retail, POS, and payments technology, working with a well-established product suite and strong existing partnerships across the ecosystem.

The opportunity suits someone who understands the retail landscape and can build relationships across enterprise and mid-market clients, as well as partners such as ISVs and system integrators.

What you’ll be doing:
Drive recent business across the Australian retail market (enterprise + mid-market)
Build and execute a go-to-market strategy targeting key retail verticals (e.g. supermarkets, specialty retail, omni-channel)
Develop relationships with key stakeholders including retailers, ISVs, system integrators and partners
Identify current opportunities across POS, self-checkout and payment technologies
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
Work closely with internal sales,



pre-sales and product teams to deliver solutions end-to-end
Represent the business at industry events and build market presence

What we’re looking for:
5+ years in a BDM / sales role within retail technology, POS, payments or adjacent sectors
Strong understanding of the Australian retail ecosystem and buying landscape
Experience selling into retail operators or working with partners (ISVs, SIs, hardware vendors)
Proven track record of recent business acquisition and revenue generation
Ability to articulate technical solutions in a commercial, outcome-driven way
Well-connected across retail or retail tech networks (highly advantageous)
