About the role

We are seeking an experienced detail oriented full time Bookkeeper to join our team in a medium sized business enterprise in Cronulla, NSW.

What you'll be doing
Managing accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting
Processing weekly Payroll & HR for employees of multiple entities
Preparing monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and BAS reports.
Assisting our external accountant with the preparation of tax returns
Maintaining general ledgers and subsidiary ledgers
Completing bank reconciliations and cash flow management
Providing administrative support
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and taxation requirements
Identifying prospects to improve financial processes and procedures

What we're looking for
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in a small practice or similar setting




Solid working knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices and procedures
Proficient in using accounting software such as MYOB or Xero
Proficient in Microsoft office, particularly Excel
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
Certificate IV Bookkeeping or equivalent
