Step into a Mechanical Lead Estimator role with a well-established Queensland trade contractor, where Morson Edge is partnering with the business to appoint a key member of their estimating team. You’ll take ownership of tenders for major mechanical and HVAC-R projects, working across a diverse range of commercial and industrial projects to develop competitive, accurate estimates and help secure the company’s next major projects.

What You'll Be Doing
Lead and mentor the estimating team across mechanical & HVAC-R projects
Prepare accurate, competitive tenders for commercial, industrial and government mechanical works
Build solid relationships with clients, subcontractors and mechanical suppliers
Drive continuous improvement in mechanical estimating processes, systems and accuracy
Step into a role with a explicit pathway to senior leadership as the business scales

Skills & experience
Trade qualification or degree in Mechanical Engineering




Proven estimating experience in mechanical or HVAC-R trade services
Robust understanding of mechanical tendering, contracts and cost planning
Confident with estimating software and Microsoft Excel
Full Australian work rights required
