They are now looking for a warm, experienced Room Leader to take the lead in their Baby Room - someone who understands the unique needs of the youngest children and has the skill, patience, and passion to create a truly nurturing environment where babies feel secure, settled, and ready to grow.

What Our Client Is Looking For
Level 3 Early Years qualification or above - essential
Previous Room Leader experience - strongly preferred, ideally within a room
A deep understanding of the developmental needs of babies and very young children
Naturally calm, nurturing, and patient - with a genuine love for working with this age group
Confident leading a room team and communicating warmly and regularly with families
Committed to maintaining the highest standards of care and practice

Key Responsibilities
Leading the day-to-day running of the Baby Room with warmth, consistency, and confidence
Creating a calm, stimulating environment that supports the developmental needs of babies at every stage
Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that encourage sensory exploration and early development
Building robust, trusting key person relationships with babies and their families
Observing and documenting developmental progress in line with EYFS, sharing updates meaningfully with parents
Mentoring and supporting room-based staff, acting as a positive and consistent role model
Contributing to the nursery's Ofsted Outstanding standards and wider team culture
