GRANO by Wildseed is seeking an experienced Lead Chef to lead our high‑volume, very busy Italian kitchen at The Goods Shed. You’ll drive quality, consistency, and innovation across our menu — backed by a solid, skilled kitchen team that values professionalism, pace, and pride.

Key responsibilities
Lead, train, and mentor the kitchen team to uphold premium standards
Plan and execute seasonal Italian menus, including handmade pasta and wood‑fired pizzas
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating for consistency and quality
Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and WHS compliance
Manage food costs, inventory, and supplier relationships
Collaborate with front‑of‑house to ensure seamless service
Implement SOPs and recipes to support efficiency and consistency

What we’re looking for
7–10+ years’ professional culinary experience, with solid Italian expertise
Proven leadership in a busy, high‑volume kitchen workplace




Strong knowledge of Italian techniques, HACCP, and WHS
Skilled in menu planning, costing, and inventory management
Calm, organised, and confident during rapid‑paced serviceCulinary qualifications (highly desirable)
Passion for authentic Italian cuisine and exceptional dining experiences
