You’ll support acute medical admissions, inpatient wards, and consults under the guidance of experienced consultants, with opportunities for senior responsibilities based on experience.
Clinical Environment:
Work in a busy, tertiary-level medicine unit with access to subspecialty support
Exposure to a broad range of complex and acute general medical presentations
Structured ward rounds, team-based care, and transparent escalation pathways
Build your skills in diagnostic reasoning, patient management, and handover
Supportive of doctors working toward RACP Basic Physician Training or transition to advanced training

Eligibility Criteria:
AHPRA General Registration
PGY3+ with General Medicine experience
NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
Willingness to complete onboarding and credentialing
What’s Provided:
Up to $180/hour, depending on shift type and experience
Flexible shifts – weekdays, evenings, weekends
End-to-end credentialing and scheduling support
Location – Westmead, NSW (Western Sydney LHD):
Enjoy the convenience of a metro-based locum in Westmead, with direct access to public transport, shopping, cafes, and Sydney’s inner suburbs. Work in one of NSW’s major hospitals without needing to travel regionally.
