Offplanet Enterprises Pty Ltd We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef to join our kitchen team at one of the busy, well-regarded restaurant on Tamborine Mountain, El Burro Cantina and Saint Marthe Brasserie. You will play a key role in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining consistency and presentation, and ensuring food safety and kitchen standards.

Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams, you will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests in a fast-paced and supportive workplace. Task & responsibilities
Planning menus, including seasonal and daily specials, in consultation with management
Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard
Overseeing portion control and monitoring food costs and wastage
Ensuring the kitchen operates in line with food safety,



hygiene, and workplace health regulations
Supervising and coordinating kitchen staff during service
Ordering and managing stock, ingredients, and kitchen supplies
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of kitchen equipment and work areas
Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff and apprentices
Adapting recipes and dishes to accommodate dietary requirements, including gluten-free preparation

Qualification & experience
Minimum of 12 months' relevant experience working as a Chef is required.
A trade qualification such as a Certificate III, IV in Commercial Cookery and a Diploma in Hospitality Management is required for this role.
