About the role:





Reporting through to the Poultry Services Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Leading and managing a vaccination team of 16;
Ensuring that the vaccination schedule is kept on track;
Understanding the process and the logistical components of getting your team in the right place at the right time;
Assisting with the relocation of the birds;
Monitoring staff performance and levels to ensure equal workload and adherence to directions;
Ensuring animal welfare; and
Meeting required timeframes to successfully inoculate and progress a healthy flock.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to engage and lead a diverse team with cultural awareness, build respectful working relationships, contribute to continuous improvement and apply practical problem-solving skills. Animal husbandry or poultry experience is advantageous but not required.
